Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on January 10, 2017 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Lisa Pool, Eric Anderson, and Geoff Zibell.

Presentation:
Lisa Pool and Eric Anderson both took Oaths of Office.
Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the December 13, 2016 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Eric and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Geoff Zibell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Eric and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities: #1- John visit, #2-5 certified letters
Correspondence: Was shared with the council
Engineer/Water/Sewer: Clerk Kappes stated that John reported everything is going well. He has been working a lot in the shop. Polar will be there this week to move the fire siren.
Fire Department: The Fire Dept. put about another 2,000 gallons of water on the skating rink. They’ve had two calls in the last month.
Fire Board: Need to set up a meeting.
Rescue: Deb has retired. They recently completed their first Webex Training session.
Parks: Skating rink up and ready. Possibly use the tennis court next year.
Streets: Eric will contact Snow Monsters and make sure he comes in to get the streets plowed.
Mayor/City Clerk: Nancy spoke with Nancy Paulson. They are still interested and hoping it will all come together in the spring. Nancy also sent a note to Ken Hunter about the van in front of his house but did not get a response.
Nancy stated that we are members of the Upstream Coalition. Chad has researched and provided materials about the FM Diversion and it’s affects on Wolverton. We will review in the future.
Jessi is working on the 2016 Audit.
Planning Commission: No Report.

770 Designating a City Attorney for 2017
771 Designating an Official Newspaper for 2017
772 Appointing an Acting Mayor for 2017
A motion to approve these resolutions was made by Geoff Zibell and seconded by Eric Anderson.

Motion to Adjourn: on January 10, 2017 by Geoff Zibell. It was seconded by Eric and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6:15 pm.
