Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on December 11, 2018 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Lisa Pool, Eric Anderson and Chad Erickson.

Presentation: None
Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the November 13, 2018 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Chad Erickson moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
Three shut-off letters were mailed out. 2 have been paid in full, 3rd is due by the 13th. 1 shutoff from last month remains off. Other property shutoff paid in full.
Correspondence: Correspondence was shared with the council.
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Christmas lights were put up.
2. Light on the flag fixed.
3. Summerville Electric has been here working on the street lights along 75.
4. Following-up on the water control panel in January.
5. Furnace in Fire Hall quit working the evening of the 6th. John brought in his nipco heater for the night and the repair guy replaced a thermocoupler on Friday morning.
Fire Department: Three certified fire fights right now. No calls since the last meeting.
Rescue: Note was sent out in December statements notifying residents that Rescue will be disbanded as of December 31, 2018.
Parks:
1. City Holiday Event went really well. Estimate of about 60 people. Soups, goodies, popcorn, treats were served. Different crafts available for kids along with the photo both. John did a hay ride around town.
Streets: None
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. Form was signed for the city insurance not waiving tort liability.
2. Jessi presented council and mayor pay amounts for other cities in Minnesota. Wolverton has not reviewed governing board pay in many years. We are currently significantly under the average pay amount. Eric Anderson moved to increase council pay to $60 per meeting and Mayor to $80 per meeting. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
3. Reviewed the Resolution and permit for MNDOT to have an easement when replacing the sidewalk through town. Eric Anderson moved to approve this resolution and permit. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
4. In January we will be doing our yearly resolutions. Discussion was had about trying an auditor in Wahpeton to reduce the expense.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.
