Some area landowners have made comments in regard to the sewer station and the current levy boundaries. Working with DOT on 75 and the railroad tracks. They would look at filling the coulee but would be working with all property owners. MN Legacy grants possibly available for beautification parts of this project such as walking paths, picnic areas, etc. The settlement agreement needs to be reviewed for what area needs to all be protected. Plans will be revised once the testing and modeling is completed. Houston would like to come back in October with updated information. What is drawn up as of a year ago had a projected cost of $2-4 million. Hoping to open bids in fall of 2023 with project to start in 2024.
