Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on September 10, 2019 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Chad Erickson, Duane Nelson and Lisa Pool.

Absent: None
Also Present: Leroy Betz

Presentation: Leroy stated he would like to take down a garage on his one lot and then use the materials to build a shed on the South side of his house. We reviewed the setback requirements. He will work on two permits: 1 for the deconstruction and 1 for the building of the new shed.

Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the August 13, 2019 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.

Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Geoff Zibell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.

Overdue Utilities:
Shutoff letters were sent.

Correspondence: Flood Diversion letter was reviewed. Nancy will follow-up on it further before signing anything.

Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Shut-off one water from last month’s overdue accounts.
2. Planning to flush the hydrants the middle of the month. Hoping to borrow Sabin’s flow meter.
3. Got prices on chainsaws- MS180 $240 and MS251 $379.96.
4. Picked up shingles for the North side of the shop.
5. Cameras at the park are up.
6. Electric Pump provided a quote to fix the pump of $14,214.50. John is waiting for an additional one to purchase a new one. John will also contact ND Sewage and Pump and get price information from them as well.
7. Pepsi was out today to fix the machine as it’s been tripping out.

Fire Department: Reviewed the provided Service Contract and the Rental agreement. Discussed changes. Jessi will make corrections and send out.

Parks: No Report.

Streets: We are going to table replacing the culvert at this time.

Mayor/City Clerk:
Discussed the antique store. Nancy notified them again that no items are allowed on the sidewalk.
Reviewed the budget spreadsheets and discussed the tax levy. Lisa Pool moved to keep the levy amounts the same as last year it was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.

Planning Commission: No Report.

Office of Tourism: No Report.

Municipal Business Development: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on September 10, 2019 by Geoff Zibell. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 6:15 pm.
