Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on August 11, 2020 via Zoom Conference Meeting. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Duane Nelson, Chad Erickson and Lisa Pool.
Absent: None
Also Present:
Presentation: None
Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the July 14, 2020 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Lisa Pool moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
One Shutoff letter was sent and had been paid in full.
Correspondence:
Discussed complaint on Facebook. Jessi will contact Attorney about cost for reviewing a new ordinance. Lisa will work on drafting a new ordinance.
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Chad & John will work on the ruts along the SW edge of town.
Parks: No Report.
Streets: Duane will coordinate with John to order gravel for the alleys for John to spread and grade the roads.
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. Tree violations-1 has been done and the other two still have time to complete.
2. Discussed vacating a street by the Community Center. At this time the City Council does not want to vacate the street.
3. Budgets were handed out and need to be done for the September meeting.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.
Municipal Business Development: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on August 11, 2020 by Lisa Pool. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 6:15 pm.
