Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on November 9, 2021. The meeting was called to order by Chad Erickson at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell and Lisa Pool (via zoom).

Minutes:
a. Geoff Zibell moved to accept the October 2021 minutes. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims:
a. Geoff Zibell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Utilities:
5 certified letters were sent
Correspondence: Was shared with the council
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
a. Turner’s does not have anyone to run the road grader. John has had no luck finding a new road grader yet.
b. John’s gotten a few more bids on snow plows including another plow truck.
c. MNDOT will cut down the tree, they just won’t be able to this year. We can take it down if we want to.
d. Started assembly of the basketball hoop
e. Aurora was working on Deb Price’s sewer. He said he was about 150’ out into the city sewer main and its full of tree roots. John will have a contractor out to look at it. If in the main the city will need to pay to fix.
f. There’s a wet area in front of the campground which may indicate a break. John will have Hammond in to look at it. MRWA will also help.
g. Lisa Pool moved to approve Resolution #808-A resolution authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of a $91,000 General Obligation Water Revenue Note, series 2021B. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Parks:
a. Basketball hoop is in process of being put together and then installed.
b. Dog park-tabled until future meeting.
Streets:
a. Snow removal-Chad will call the guy from last year again and request that again he sends us a quote.
b. Chad tried filling some of the potholes. John will try and grade them again next week.
Mayor/City Clerk:
a. Did the second reading of Ordinance #71-An Ordinance Providing for the Disposal and Abatement of Public Nuisances caused by Abandoned, Junked, or Inoperative Vehicles and Ordinance #72-An Ordinance Promoting and Protecting the Public Health, Safety and General Welfare by providing for the Regulation of the care and plating of trees and Providing for the Regulation and Removal of Certain Trees and Diseases Affecting Trees and Establishing Procedures for Removal Thereof and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof. Lisa Pool moved to approve both ordinances. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
b. Fee schedule was discussed, and fees set for violations of Ordinance 71 & 72. Lisa Pool moved to approve the fee schedule. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
c. Utility Rate Increase was discussed. Jessi will do a sewer fund spreadsheet and a final decision on increases will be made in December.
d. Budgets are being worked on and will be finalized following the discussion on utility rates.
e. Chad has talked to two people about joining the council that showed interest. He is waiting to hear back from them on who wants to for sure join.
f. Employee annual review form was reviewed. Current form is sufficient.

Motion to Adjourn: on November 9, 2021 by Lisa Pool. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor. Chad Erickson declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 6:15 pm.
