Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on April 12, 2022. The meeting was called to order by Chad Erickson at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Joshua Jensen, Jess Nelson and Luke Kratzer

Presentation: Rick Fiedler-calls were up 32 calls which added an additional $550 from last year. Total bill is $3,539.35.
Minutes:
a. Geoff Zibell moved to accept the March 2022 minutes. It was seconded by Jess and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims:
a. Geoff Zibell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Joshua and carried, all in favor.
Utilities:
Certified letters were sent 04/05/2022-One has paid
Correspondence: Was shared with the council
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
a. Water and sewer are good.
b. All 4 campground spots spoken for this summer.
c. Talking to Minn-Kota about the loose cable whipping in the wind off of the water tower. They are researching and supposed to get back to him.
d. Talked to Josh & Jim from Christine will do the road grading for $85 an hour. Luke will find out who bought the road grader from Turners.
e. Thein Well has bored the well and put in the casing. They are now waiting for the motor and pump to match the water flow.
f. Grant from Wellhead Protection to cap the old well is in the works.
Parks:
a. Dog park discussed
b. Community Night activities to be discussed going forward.
Streets:
a. Lots of potholes. Will try to box blade more when it dries and will have them graded.
b. John will contact Xcel and see if they can come in and get light bulbs replaced.
Mayor/City Clerk:
a. Clean up day will be on May 31st.
b. Chad attended Diversion meeting in Christine. The Diversion created another entity that handles the water mitigation and how the water gets displaced. They were not able to give Chad any information on Wolverton specifically. They advised him to talk to Buffalo Watershed or FM Diversion directly.
Planning Commission: Old bank building is for sale and have heard of some interest.
Municipal Business Development: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on April 12, 2022, by Geoff Zibell. It was seconded by Joshua and carried, all in favor. Chad Erickson declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be held on May 10, 2022.
