Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on February 13, 2018 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Lisa Pool, Chad Erickson, Geoff Zibell and Eric Anderson.
Absent: John Kappes
Also Present: Kirk Lindblom
Presentation:
Kirk would like permission to take down the tree in the Northwest corner of his property. It has Dutch Elm disease. It is dead; therefore, it can be removed. There are a couple of other trees near it that will take its place.
Minutes: Lisa Pool moved to accept the January 9, 2018 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Chad Erickson moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
#1 Benefit is scheduled in March. He will be charged the minimum of $25 a month from December until he is able to return home.
#2-5 will receive certified letters.
#6 is on a payment plan.
Correspondence:
Correspondence was shared with the council.
Complaint forms were reviewed and discussed.
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
Jessi gave John’s report.
1. Electric Pump was here on 01-25-18 there was a bad float switch and also Xcel found a transformer down the line. All has been fixed.
2. Wellhead Protection Plan is done.
3. Water numbers have been good.
4. Still working on picnic tables. Wood is in tough shape so will be pricing out new.
5. In Control was here from Blaine, MN and will be sending in a quote for the water system.
Fire Department:
Four batteries needed to be replaced on the tanker truck. Both the old truck and the pump have sold. Just waiting for them to be picked up.
Fire Board: Eric will follow-up with Randy on the status of the service agreement.
Rescue: Nancy is still the liaison with FM Ambulance but is not going on any calls.
Parks:
Rink was flooded again and ready to go.
Streets:
Eric will follow-up on the street light repairs.
Mayor/City Clerk:
Auto-Pay is up and running. We will offer payment processing dates on the 1st or 15th. Jessi will mail out the authorization form with March statements.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on February 13, 2018 by Chad Erickson. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6:15 pm.
