Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on July 11, 2017 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Lisa Pool, Chad Erickson, Eric Anderson and Geoff Zibell.

Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the June 13, 2017 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.

Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Eric Anderson moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.

Overdue Utilities:
#1- John has located and fixed the cover of this shut-off. Resident paid $200 and will pay $100 each Monday. If one payment is missed it will be shut off immediately.
#2, 3, 4, 5, & 7- letter
#6 should not be on the list.

Correspondence:
Correspondence was shared with the council.

Engineer/Water/Sewer:
John has been pruning trees.
We have problems with our mosquito fogger. John will check on a new engine, as well as estimates for aerial spraying, a new fogger or new sprayer. John will get Kent’s sprayer in the meantime.
Water has been good besides a replacement of a “duck bill” that went bad for the chemicals.
Dave Hammond estimated about $1,000 per home owner for water shut-offs to be installed on the water line that runs out to Don Nelsons.

Fire Department: Waiting on Randy’s contact to help us with fire board decisions.
Fire Board: None

Rescue: None

Parks:
One camper which recently left.
One side of the park shelter has been completed.
Fourth night of kickball this Thursday.

Streets:
Streets have been graded.

Mayor/City Clerk:
Jessi stated that we may need to make some changes to the waste tax that is charged to commercial locations within town. This will likely not start until 2018.

We need to meet with someone about the diversion and discuss how our community is going to be affected.

The building next to the hall needs to be looked at as the front is getting worse.
