Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on July 14, 2020 via Zoom Conference Meeting. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:20 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Duane Nelson, Chad Erickson and Lisa Pool.
Absent: None

Presentation: None
Minutes: Duane Nelson moved to accept the June 9, 2020 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Lisa Pool moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
Shutoff letters were sent on July 2nd. All but one has paid in full. The last one has mailed a payment.
Correspondence:
Discussed complaint letter received. A letter will be sent to the resident about the ordinance violations.
Well inspection was completed. The well is overdue to have the pump pulled and fully inspected. John will get a quote.
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. There are bad ruts in the grass area along the SW edge of town. John and Chad will work on.
2. Quality Pump will be dropping off the old pump.
3. Waiting to hear back from MDH on requirements for a shed around the water control panel.
4. John will contact T& G Sanitation again and let them know to not pick up any garbage left in the alley ways.
5. John will order a load of gravel to be used on city alleys as soon as the tree is cut down, as that it typically where it is dumped.
6. John got a quote of $600 to cut down the tree near the shop. He can rent a lift and do it himself for $300. He will pursue the lift renal.
7. A letter will be sent to the current campsite renter to complete the rental agreement.
Parks: No Report.
Streets: No Report.
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. Letters will be sent to three homeowners about trimming back trees that are blocking the view of vehicles and on traffic signs.
2. Discussed culvert maintenance.
3. Reviewed Budget vs. Actual Report.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.
Municipal Business Development: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on July 14, 2020 by Geoff Zibell. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 6:15 pm.
