Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on June 13, 2018 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Lisa Pool, Geoff Zibell, Eric Anderson, and Chad Erickson.

Absent: None

Presentation:

Minutes: Eric Anderson moved to accept the May 8, 2018 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.

Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Lisa Pool moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.

Overdue Utilities:
All three need certified letters

Correspondence:
Correspondence was shared with the council.

Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. John has received one bid for the water panel electric. He is still waiting for others.
2. Reviewed prices for a road grader attachment for tractor. Will discuss with John further on if there is any other equipment that the city needs.
3. John removed the wall at the ball park. No fencing between it. John will call Dakota Fence to get the fencing.
4. There is an additional sewer hookup at the campground and there is an electric pole in the shop that we could have installed for an additional spot.

Fire Department: Training has been done.
We need to schedule a meeting with Sabin fire in regards to the Service Contract.

Rescue: Truck is not starting well. Currently two members at this time. Discussion was had about disbanding as well as about how to get additional members. The bylaws need to be reviewed.

Parks:
1. Kickball tomorrow.
2. There was approximately 50 people at the first night.
3. Chad indicated that the Celebration fund is planning to donate money to the city for kickball night. Funds will be held in a separate fund.

Streets:
1. Streets were graded.
2. Eric is still working on getting street lights fixed.

Mayor/City Clerk:
1. Discussion was had in rages to the MN Livable Code for ordinance updating. We will need to go through and review the book.
2. We will work on updating the utility ordinance.
3. Beginning August 1st we will start enforcing the current utility ordinance which states that utility payments are due on the 15th. If not paid by the 30th a 10 day shut off notice will be sent out. A letter will go with the July statements in regards to this.

Planning Commission: No Report.

Office of Tourism: No Report.
