Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on May 12, 2020 via Zoom Conference Meeting. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Duane Nelson, Chad Erickson and Lisa Pool.
Absent: None
Also Present:
Presentation: None
Minutes: Duane Nelson moved to accept the April 14, 2020 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Lisa Pool moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
Shutoff letters were sent on May 4th.
Correspondence: None
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Water & Sewer have been good.
2. Looking to flush hydrants on May 19th. Will need the flow meter from Sabin.
3. Busy cleaning up garbage and mowing.
4. Water is on at the campground and the sign is up.
5. Will be straightening the sign at the ball diamond and putting on the 3rd pole for the welcome sign.
Parks: Nancy reported that Town & Country softball canceled this season, however, any seniors will be able to play next year.
Streets: Duane will call Turner’s and have them come in and grade the roads. John will work on the alleys after we get a little rain.
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. QuickBooks requires an update. Cost will be around $300.
2. We have received a draft of the audit the final should be completed soon.
3. Chad is going to visit with the Wayne at the Antique store about the shrubs he planted in the sidewalk way.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.
Municipal Business Development: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on May 12, 2020 by Lisa Pool. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 6:15 pm.
