City of Wolverton Seasonal Part Time Public Works Opening
The City of Wolverton is hiring a Public Works Maintenance employee to perform skilled work in streets, parks, urban forestry, storm water, and city property facilities. This position helps to efficiently maintain public property throughout the City. This position is a seasonal part time opportunity to include the spring, summer and fall seasons with approximately 25 hours per week. NOTICE TO CITY RESIDENTS City Clean-up Day will be Tuesday, May 7, 2019: T & G Sanitation will be picking up items from the curb the morning of Tuesday May 7th. Please have all items on the boulevard the night prior to clean-up. Wolverton, MN KVRR Town of the Week 4-2-19
In case anyone missed it. Wolverton earned KVRR's town of the week for April 2nd 2019. This wouldn't have happened without everyone's votes which was one of the highest vote totals of the year at 1930 votes!!! I suspect that some of you may have voted more that once :-). Filling Sandbags March 25 & 26th @ 6:00PM
We hope to not need these, but want to fill about 2000 sandbags. We'd rather be safe than scramble! Bring a shovel (mark it as yours), gloves and friends to the Wolverton Fire Hall at 6:00PM
City of Wolverton Holiday Dec. 8th
The City of Wolverton Holiday will be Saturday, December 8th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church! Santa is coming to town, get your picture with him and let him know what you would like for Christmas! Bring your letters for Santa, or write one there. Enjoy a kids craft, popcorn, hot chocolate, soups, treats, and a photo booth! There will be a hay ride around town to check our all of the holiday lights! Most importantly... enjoy time with family, friends, neighbors and the kids!
