Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on November 13, 2018 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Lisa Pool, Eric Anderson and Chad Erickson.

Presentation: None
Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the October 8, 2018 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Chad Erickson moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
Nine shut-off letters were mailed out. 7 were paid in full. 2 were shutoff.
Correspondence: Correspondence was shared with the council.
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Campground winterized.
2. Fluoridation Award for 2017.
3. H & H Coatings report was reviewed for the tower cleaning.
4. Tractor is back-front seal was fixed and new front tires.
Fire Department: They’ve had one call for a car fire.
Rescue: Rescue will be disbanded as of December 31, 2018. A note will be included in December utility statements.
Parks:
1. City Holiday Event will be on December 8th.
2. The City of Shelly has Christmas lights for $100. Chad Erickson moved to purchase these. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
3. Thief River Falls also has a large quantity of Christmas lights. Lisa will contact them and work on negotiating a price.
4. Discussion was had about putting up the ice rink. Follow-up with John and discuss if we would like to do this again.
Streets: Snow monsters sent in a bid for $160 per hour with a minimum 1-hour charge. They will continue to do the snow removal.
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. 2019 Budgets are ready to be compiled.
2. Discussed sending unpaid utility accounts to taxes.
3. Discussion was had about burning leaves in town. This is allowed from 2-9 p.m. September 15th through December 1st. No permit is required.
4. Resolution #776- A resolution electing to participate in the area of operation of the Wilkin County Economic Development Authority was reviewed. Chad Erickson moved to approve this resolution. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on November 13, 2018 by Chad Erickson. It was seconded by Eric and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 6:15 pm.
