Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on November 2, 2022. The meeting was called to order by Chad Erickson at 6:16 P.M. Council members present Geoff Zibell, Joshua Jensen, and Jess Nelson.
Absent: Luke Kratzer

Presentation: None
Minutes:
a. Josh Jensen moved to accept the October 2022 minutes with a correction to the meeting dates. It was seconded by Jess and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims:
a. Geoff Zibell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Jess and carried, all in favor.
Utilities: Certified letters will be sent November 3, 2022.
Correspondence: None
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
a. Soil pile at campground will be hauled out within the next couple of weeks.
b. Hydrant at bank is broke at the bottom so will need to be dug up and replaced. Estimated parts cost is $5,000 and labor is $2,000. Geoff Zibell moved to approve this repair. It was seconded by Josh and carried, all in favor.
c. City well-Waiting on Sweeney to do their part to get it up and running.
Parks:
a. Halloween party went well. Jess will submit receipts for her expenses.
b. Discussed ice skating rink.
c. Discussed Christmas community event.
d. Discussed lights at the park.
e. Discussed grants for new park equipment.
Streets:
a. Snow Removal-Need to see if Jeff is willing to do so again this year.
Mayor/City Clerk:
a. Budgets were reviewed. Josh Jensen moved to approve the 2023 budget. It was seconded by Jess and carried, all in favor.
Municipal Business Development: No Report.
Motion to Adjourn: on November 2, 2022, by Geoff Zibell. It was seconded by Jess and carried, all in favor. Chad Erickson declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be held on December 13, 2022.
