Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on October 8, 2018 in Council Chambers in the City of Wolverton, MN. The meeting was called to order by Nancy Olthoff at 6:15 P.M. Council members present: Geoff Zibell, Lisa Pool and Chad Erickson.
Absent: Eric Anderson
Also Present: John Kappes
Presentation: None
Minutes: Geoff Zibell moved to accept the September 11, 2018 meeting minutes. It was seconded by Chad and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims: The checks and bills were reviewed Chad Erickson moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Geoff and carried, all in favor.
Overdue Utilities:
Four shut-off letters were mailed out. One has been paid.
Correspondence: None
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
1. Ball diamond is being winterized.
2. Campers will be here through the month. Possibly longer depending on weather.
3. Fire hydrants will be flushed on Friday, October 12th. Jessi will put this on Facebook.
Fire Department: None
Rescue: Discussion was had about disbanding the rescue squad as we only have 2 individuals.
Parks:
1. Lisa is planning a Santa Day.
Streets: Chad will contact Snow Monsters about doing snow removal this year.
Mayor/City Clerk:
1. Nancy stated she talked to someone from the State of MN as they need to obtain easements from property owners along Hwy75 for the road project coming through town. She will also be providing them with a copy of our zoning map.
2. Nancy attending a meeting in Fargo in regards to the Flood Diversion.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Office of Tourism: No Report.

Motion to Adjourn: on October 8, 2018 by Chad Erickson. It was seconded by Lisa and carried, all in favor. Mayor Nancy Olthoff declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 6:15 pm.
