Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting

Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on June 10, 2025. The meeting was called to order by Chad Erickson at 6:15 P.M. Council members present were Josh Jensen and Frank Israelson.

Absent: Jessica Nelson, Jessi Kappes

Also Present: None

Presentation: None

Minutes:
a. Josh Jensen moved to accept May 2025 minutes. It was seconded by Shawn and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims:
a. Shawn O’Dell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Josh and carried, all in favor.
Utilities:
a. Past Due letters will be sent.

Correspondence: None

Engineer/Water/Sewer:
a. The water system has been good.
b. June 3rd the tower was repaired and completely cleaned out.
c. John called T & G to bring us a couple spare cans that we can use to swap out broken cans.
d. Campground now has 2 cans so plenty for them. He also brough Chuck and Heather a can.
e. Mosquito spray will be here Thursday.
f. Sheriff called John on Monday June 9th about the pickup stuck in the coolie. Jessi will forward the police report on this incident. All of the damage was done on the county property or on the state property.
g. John called the sheriff’s department today, June 10th on the car by the campground. It has been there just shy of 2 months. They will be out this afternoon to look at it.
Parks:
a. Jessica Nelson planted the flower pots and are setup on main street.
b. Park backboard-no report
Streets:
a. Streets have been bladed.
b. Josh made a map of the city street lights that are out.

Mayor/City Clerk:
a. Diversion-No updates
b. Discussion on who handles garbage items like cans, communication with T & G etc.
c. Discussion on who will be doing the mosquito spraying.

Municipal Business Development: None

Motion to Adjourn: Josh Jensen moved to adjourn June 10, 2025, it was seconded by Frank and carried, all in favor. Chad Erickson declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be held on July 8, 2025.
