Minutes of Wolverton City Council Meeting
Pursuant to due call and proper notice, a meeting of the City of Wolverton Council was held on March 12, 2026. The meeting was called to order by Jessica Nelson at 6:15 P.M. Council members present were Frank Israelson and Shawn O’Dell.
Absent: Josh Jensen
Also Present: None
Presentation: None
Minutes:
a. Shawn O’Dell moved to accept February 2026 minutes. It was seconded by Frank Israelson and carried, all in favor.
Bills & Claims:
a. Shawn O’Dell moved to accept the bills & claims. It was seconded by Frank Israelson and carried, all in favor.
Utilities: Will get an update on the one very past due.
Correspondence: None
Engineer/Water/Sewer:
a. Water and Sewer have been good.
Parks: Campground prices change to $450 a month this year. If we get electricity at the ball diamond $300 a month if there is no electricity $200 a month.
Streets: None
Mayor/City Clerk:
a. Discussed using the JPA fund to do the power updates for campground, possibly a lawn mower, and updating the hall. Campground updates would be updating to 50amp service and then possibly putting 3 electricity poles down at the ball diamond. These sites would not have sewer or water hookups. Shawn will look into the electricity cost.
b. Discussed getting rid of the ambulance.
c. Discussed brush pile by the sewer lift station needing to get burnt.
d. Discussed a property needing maintenance/upkeep.
e. Discussed Courtney starting April 1st for part-time employment. Council will make a list of duties to start the season with.
Municipal Business Development: None
Motion to Adjourn: Shawn O’Dell moved to adjourn March 12, 2026, it was seconded by Frank and carried, all in favor. Jessica Nelson declared the meeting adjourned. The next Wolverton City Council Meeting will be held on April 14, 2026.
